MSSN Mentorship

The MSSN Sibling Mentor Program is an initiative that pairs knowledgeable and resourceful mentors with siblings of people with disabilities (mentees).

The purpose of the mentor relationship is twofold. First, our mentors share resources tailored to the mentee’s unique and individualized sibling dynamic. In addition, the role of the mentor is to foster the mentee’s identity as a sibling and provide support.

Contact us if you are interested in applying to become a mentor or if you are a mentee looking to be paired with a mentor.

*It is important to note that the mentor/mentee relationship is not a therapeutic alliance. MSSN mentors are adult siblings with lived experience. They are not licensed clinicians and do not provide mental health counseling.
